Hi,
I would go to the dealership and forward the bill for the repair to the car audio shop's accountant. Take pictures and send them via email of the damage to the map pocket immediately. If you paid with a credit card, you can also refute the charges of the audio shop because they damaged your vehicle. Those map pockets are hundreds of dollars new from the dealer. I imagine that electrical troubleshooting is also expensive. What if a wire is loose somewhere else and incinerates more than just your car. I heard last week that an improper installation resulted in airbag deployment, injuring a lady in her friends driveway.
I'm sorry I don't have more solution for you.
