1966 122s Engine Type? 120-130

I just found http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html?engspecs.html which gives the most complete info. on this that I've found. My hunch is that the engine is a B18B, "dual SU HS6 carburetors, high compression version" so the timing should be set at 17-19 degrees BTDC @1500 RPM. If I advance it to 20-22 degrees, is there any threat of long term damage?
