Please don't take such offense--obviously you were making your inquiry as to augmenting your foggy condition lighting--a worthy goal. I was making my comment regarding "drivers" who use the fog lamps here in the USA as a styling statement and who may not even realize how that effects the rear lighting--which was the subject of my rant. If they want to burn their fog lamp bulbs unnecessarily in clear conditions it's rarely a problem with approaching cars, as the fogs are mounted and aimed low. It's the confusion of the rear lights that I find annoying.
