Hi folks,
Finally got my dizzy rotor off! Gaah, I thought I was gonna break my arm!
After I got the new cap on too, I put the wires back and put the battery cable back on, and started the car. Out of the corner of my eye, out the passenger window, I saw a puff of smoke pass by.
I jumped out of the car, but there was no more smoke coming out of the tailpipe. The exhaust smelled gassy for a moment, then just smelled normal.
What do you think? I figure that the more powerful spark burned out some funky gunk that might have been in the engine. The old original cap and rotor were scored and burnt.
Thanks!
Ari
