Same thing happened to me when I first got the S90. It had about 180k. I ended up replacing just the one rotor/drum thing because the dealer parts guy told me he has never seen that before.. The car now has 283+k and I still haven't replaced the other side.
As for the ebrakes, hopefully your cables are ok. One of mine were seized so it still worked and then shortly after it broke. The cables are a pita to replace so I still haven't done that. To properly do it you neeed to drop the tank.
