Are you sure your defroster hoses are connected, not leaking, and that the butterfly is opening right? No crayons stuffed in the vents, etc? You should
be getting a pretty fiery blast out of them, especially if the cabin air is off.

If you have an air conditioner it will dehumidify the air in the car and clear
the windshield faster than the defroster if it is working well. If you get the
glass too cold it will fog on the outside though.
