While the above did indeed happen, SAP was perfect today - repeat, PERFECT. I received the lenses today, well kind of. The UPS man brings the box to the door and my wife answers. He gives her a box, foot by foot and a half big. The box has been mashed, squashed, dropped, kicked, backed over, and well you get the idea. Mrs R2 say "wow this box is really beat up I hope whatever is inside isn't broken". UPS man says "no, nothings broken 'cause I can see the package inside is alright". He can see the package because the whole box is split open. I get home and decide I better take a few pics of the box before I open just in case I have to make a claim. Sure enough, the left lens has a big corner chunk broken and the right lens has a crack and a corner broken. I've never filed a shipping claim before so I call Swedish Auto Parts to see what to do and the nicest lady in the world answers and says "no problem, that happens every now and again. She said UPS was done for today but I'll get you new ones out on Monday and they should be at your house by Wednesday. Throw the broken ones away I don't need them back to file a claim". So, she's taking care of everything. I told her I'd email her the pics of the box damage anyway just in case. How about that for service? Excellent.
