i had to replace mine 3 years ago, found used one for $250.00. i don't know where you live but a place called pullapart (www.pullapart.com) moved into my area last summer, i bought a back up ecm for $33.00. since then i have bought a/c comp.,starter,ignition ecm,several relays + many other parts, all together under $200.00. if you can find one not too faraway with volvo's may be worth a trip.
