Hello--in my 544 I run an iPod directly into an amplifier in the trunk. No head unit at all, use the iPod's controls for volume and track selection. Hide an 1/8" jack somewhere in the passenger footwell and run the cable under the carpets. Stick the hook side of some velcro to the back of your iPod case so you can stick it to the carpet on the transmission tunnel. Pick as big an amp as you like and go straight to the strip. Best--Nate
