Congrats on the '86 245. I have three 245's - 86, 91, and 92. No 244's yet.
Besides the year model differences (headlights are most noticable), you'll also have some other wagon differences. Watch out for wiring in the tailgate hinges - it's probably gone bad or going bad. Wiper, defrost, 3rd brake, and license plate lights can all be dead.
