power seat problem 700

The switch to move power seats forward and back broke. Does anyone know if I can move the connector wires from the seatback adjuster to the "forward/back" adjuster.

The "too costly" fix would be to get a new adjuster "unit" for about $250...I have also started a search for a manual seat to replace the power ones.

Any help appreciated.
