I liked the blue poly front strut rod bushings from IPD. Installed on my 87 745 the other week. They should fit yours fine, we have the right length strut rods stock. Some have fitment issues.
How are your struts? The upper mounts and make a good rattle. Beware off brand mounts/bearings. I was able to clean my bearings and re-grease, and the actual rubber mounts were fine at 150K
Let's see, brake stuff while you're there? The hoses are like $8 a pop new, and apt to stretch and break when you have the caliper hanging around. Wheel bearings, pull and clean/grease at least.
For what it's worth, at 150K my inner (rear) strut bushings and inner control arm bushings were in perfect condition. I had em new on hand, just didn't need em.
I'd highly recommend doing the inner and outer tie rods, and boots, they are cheap enough.
Remember to torque bushings with the weight of the car on em, and use a torque wrench here and there.
