240 versus 850

YIKES....

Those both seem way, way overpriced. Cut both prices in half and you'll still be paying top dollar.

THat said.. we've had two 850 turbos. Both automatics admittedly, but both had tranny problems at a bit over 100k miles. As well as engine issues in one, a heater core in the other.

We currently have two 240s. Both at about 290k, and neither has had any significant drivetrain issues.

850s simply do not hold up as well as 240s.

Either can be costly to have fixed... I bet the 240 would be a bit better in that regard though.

Were I you... I'd keep shopping.
