Ya, I've got a completely different air cleaner arrangement and will be using the fitting instead of a PCV valve. Such a simple idea - it has to be good. I'm going to be plumbing the engine this weekend, so we'll see which car works best to supply the air, but I'm leaning towards the rear carb as it will keep my installation cleaner.
