I have Bendix calipers... 700 1987

"The shop advised against replacing or rebuilding the calipers, even though they were sticky. They seemed to believe that replacing the pads and flushing the system, along with lubing the caliper pins, would solve the issue."

I don't buy that. If the pistons are indeed stuck, the calipers need to be rebuilt to unstick the pistons. It's possible that you need new piston boots as well.

Rebuilding the calipers is not hard by the way.
