If the oxygen sensor goes out, it will run rough. It will also have extremely high Nitrous oxide count on your emissions test. It probably will not pass. It will also poison your catalytic converter. It took me a long time and alot of money to figure this out. So I just change it out every couple of years. It now runs like a champ.
