No reverse, sometimes 200 1993

I had a similar problem a few years ago. Neither my very good indy mechanics nor the area's top notch tranny shop had a correct diagnosis. The tranny shop thought the shift to tranny linkage needed replacing. I climbed under there and got linkage adjusted properly using Bentley manual. A clue might be how indicator lines up when in shift position 1. Also, next time it doesn't work in R, shift all the way down to 1, then back to R.
