Hall Sensor Replacement 700 1987

I've rebuilt both the rear head mounted distributor and the side mount with a Hall Sensor replacement. On both of mine it was necessary to remove the distributor and pull the shaft out. The side mount is the toughest since the pin that holds the gear on the shaft is bradded and needed to be drilled partially to drift it out. I used a spring pin of the same size to replace them (and to facilitate future rebuilds) and have had no problems.

Regards,
