i had a similar problem on a wagon i had. would intermitantly pop out of o/d at highway speeds. i floated the solder in the relay and still had the problem. while underneath the car to change tranny fluid, i found the electrical connection on the o/d to be loose and greasy. i cleaned it up, tightened the female connector, and the o/d worked like a dream. sometimes it IS the simple stuff.
