Art's pics showed me a i need a backing plate with square nuts welded on

The only thing in my pic fitting that description is a turbo feature - the grommet for the overpressure switch and gauge hose. I'm fairly certain there's no thickness reinforcement surrounding the clutch cable ferrule - at least none attached to the booster panel. I've read enough stories that suggest there should be, but mine shows no stress wrinkles or cracks yet.
