Ignition switch 700 1988

I removed the instrument cluster to access the ignition switch mounting screws.
I forget exactly but think I used a 1/4 " ratchet with the appropriate 1/4"
screw bit to get out the two mounting screws.

If you suspect a bad alternator, get a multimeter and measure the DC volts at the battery terminals with the engine running. You should get over 14 volts.
If you're shaky with electrical, don't despair, get a multimeter and learn
how to use it. (The basics are easy to learn and usually the little booklet
with the meter will be enough)

Good luck, Bill
