Intermittent rough idle and code 113 200


Yeah, I think we are on the same page. I have a spare FPR so I'll install that first. It is pretty easy, I've done one on this car before.

I too thought AMM as I've read here that they can cause an intermittent bad idle. Plus this is the original AMM - to the best of my knowledge. I checked the AMM connector and that was fine.

There is one other possibility that I've read about here. The car had a bad O2 sensor and intake manifold gasket at the same time and was throwing codes 113 and 232?. Poster mentioned something interesting. His point was these cars can learn bad habits that don't away immediately after the problem is fixed. So it might be possible that my car's ECU is still adjusting for the bad intake manifold gasket that threw a 113 code for so long?? Every time I disconnect the battery the car runs fine with the ECU reset. Eventually it goes back to its "bad" old habit. Interesting, eh!
