Improving Compression with age. 200

I would agree that there is a carbon build up. The first time I did a compression check. I had drove about 350 miles and It used 1 1/2 Qt of oil. I was thinking That I needed to start looking for an engine. After the first compression check and looking at the back bumper and any place I stopped, figured it was leaking bad. I got all the leaks stopped and very little oil is being used (1/2 pint to 3,000 mile). You are right about FBI and all and I do go off the deep end working on my cars. I never paid much attention to the 240 until I figured out the little 117 HP B230f has the main bearing surface that equal to a Small block Chevy. The compression check cost me a little time and I should have ran the check like I did in the past. I run sea foam in the gas on a regular basis but information is a powerful thing. I read the can and it said you could put it in the oil. I thought " what the hell try it" so far no problem. I do plan to repeat the compression check. I just like to know this stuff. thanks Greg
