Sorry for taking so long to get back, I did not check the hose, but they are of the braided stainless variety. I had them made up about 3-4 years ago ..and the caliper looked pretty rusted/crappy. The pads wore on a very lopsided angle forming almost wedge shapes. I have a new reman caliper on one side already, just waiting for a chance to do the other side. actually the Volvo gods have been good to me so far. It's the middle of february and I've got no snow and a few 40 degree days, (hopefully for this weekend as well).
