A/C problem 700

If you are using defrost, the compressor will cycle as you say 3 to 5 seconds. It doesn't matter if button is pushed in or not. It will still come on during defrost. If you put it on A/C, it should stay on longer. You can also unplug at the compressor, but it does help defrost mode. Your windows won't fog up as much.
