Do you KNOW which it is?

The tranny is a lot easier to change over (your 740's should work) than motor...OBD and other electrical goodies clutter the '93 engine, thought it's 'possible' to swap. You're looking at antilock brakes too, but shouldn't affect the drivetrain.

How many miles on the 940? You should try starting it first. If you get it for $500, you can sell enough parts on ebay to pay for it worst case.
