"Flats'? 140-160 1968

bmessina -- at the bottom of each of your carbs (sticking down) is a unit consisting of metal and plastic pieces with a coil spring set between two "nut" sort of parts (with the flats). The lowest of the nuts is the mixture adjustment. Turning the nut against the spring so it rides threads upward will lean the mixture. Starting point is two turns (12 flats down) to rich from completely lean. It is usually possible to turn that nut with your fingers.
