Idle problems AMM problems? 700 1991

I have to pull the intake to fix the leak & planned on swapping the temp. sender. I checked the one in the car & several others I have.
Readings as follows;

In car sensor was reading 10K ohms when Volvo manual says 5 K ohms I forget the temp.
Brand new sensor was identical to the one in car.
Spare used sensor read as per manual 5 K ohms.

I am going to swap the current in car for my used spare.
