Tank Drips Fuel?! 140-160 1973

That's what I've always done... find hole, ream it out, coat a self tapping sheet metal screw in JB Weld, fire it in there. No power tools.. hand tools only. No sparks.

First couple times, I pulled the tank for the operation. Second few, I drained the tank. Last few, just did it quick with gas in the tank. Last such hole was noticed immediately after completely filling the tank, and I managed to patch it with a full tank in about 5 minutes. Kinda messy.

Of course, if you do have a big hole or seam leak, it won't work.
