Intermittent wiper mod? 140-160

I have in front of me now an intermittent wiper kit made by Hella part no. 7010.
It is very old but they still make it according to their catalogue.
It is an under dash mounted device which is an on/off switch so presumably it takes over from the original wiper switch.
