First thing first. Loosen all lug nuts and re-torque to spec in a star pattern. Then test drive. I had a similar problem on our 95 960 and the lug nut toque was uneven and all over the place. I re-torqued all the lugs evenly and to spec and noticed an immediate improvement that eventually went completely away after a few weeks.
