Greetings, My '71 1800 E has the 4:30 rear end and 65R15 tires on the OE 5"wheels. The problem is that in fourth gear it wants the O.D. because of the higher engine speeds required for city driving. This is irritating. I'm thinking about using a larger dia. tire in order to perhaps lower the engine speed a little in fourth, but I wonder if this will cause problems in O.D. The alternative is to change the rear end ratio. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike
