VF means different things in 4 door cars then it does in 2 door cars, and it means a even different things in the estates.

In both of them the V stands for vänster (swedish for left) so the last letter F is for the year. If the car had been produced for countries that drive on the wrong side like australia or UK or japan the year model 1963 would end in HF.

F in the 4 door cars means that they are produced between september 1962 and august 1963.
