new engine B20F 140-160

Thanks for the offer...unfortunately I already have the 142 part...with all the right stuff complete new suspension, VPD springs, Billy fronts, Koni rears, brake booster, 8 spkr stereo, blower motor, calipers, pads, wheel bearings...Mikunis (neatly tuned) 123 ignition....about $ 6500 invested...

When I bought it, it was about the only 142 available on the West Coast (summer 2008)...I've seen plenty of refurbed ones since that fateful day for much less than I have in the car...It's like buying the next BEST computer...how long do you wait?

Planning budget/sport rebuild...goes like this...comments welcome

1. If bores are in good shape, balance assy., VPD SP Cam, lifters, rods. lighten stock flywheel, deck block.
2. Rebuild B20B head (in car) as stock, ARP Bolts, aluminum intake, FI Exhaust, TWM Cold Air intake
3. Send B20F head to Jparker for porting and valve springs, refit when received.

Total time (12 months???) HP? enough "butt dyno" change, sporty, reliable daily driver..!

Plan B....who knows? If the bores are shot...reach for the 401K!
