control arm bushings difficult to replace in the driveway 700

So, I bought my bushings and went to replace them this weekend (the conical bushings at the front of the arm). To my dismay, there is not enough room to get a decent grip on the rear bolts. Must I elevate the car substantially more (somewhat impossible to do in my driveway) or is there a trick to this that I am missing? Breaker bars were in attendance, but with the car about 16" above the ground, there still is not much room to work. Suggestion?
