Sorry to hear about your trouble. Its very common to strip the threads in the aluminum head. It is possible to repair the threads with the head in place. Check this out:

This comes with a reamer tap, and a coiled wire thread insert. You ream the damaged threads, and install the coiled wire insert. All is done with the engine in the car and the head in place.
Not the cheapest tool, but cheap compared to taking the head off the motor. Others may have a similar tool, just make sure that you get one with the proper thread.
