Any non turbo 89 and on four cylinder ecu will be compatible. The engines in the naturally aspirated B230f made after 89 will run on the fuel injection program LH 2.4. These Volvo's are badged 940, 740 & 240. If u were to venture to the junkyard look for the newest model's being the 940's and then the others. The late model 1995 940's have a desirable ecu.
