Is there a reason no one has done this? 120-130

indeed... *if* the '67 in question is a sedan... Wagon suspension is, of course, different.

And, there's the need to swap front hub stuffs to keep a consistent bolt pattern.

And.. I've yet to hear a definitive result of the single circuit brake system with the 4 wheel disc brakes that were designed for the dual circuit setup.

All of which is not to say I don't plan on trying something at least similar, but.. I've got a wagon. My plan is to weld wagon suspension brackets to a 140 rear end that's already equipped with LSD.. Track is only slightly wider..

As for the original question.. 240 half shafts simply won't work. Aside from the fact they are indeed wider (longer half shafts), the outer bearing setup is completely different.

Why, oh why, Volvo... did you use 10 spline Dana 30 rears? My guess is a big pile of leftover Dana 27 half shafts...
