An update. My mechanic now has the car at his shop. He’s swapped out just about everything electrical/computer related, and indicates that there is plenty of pressure from the in-tank pre-pump, and that from his 25+ years of experience it sounds like an injector not performing correctly or not firing under load. We’ll see though. He’s looked at it only once this week. It has just about everything new under the hood now because of this issue – at least a tune up has been taken care of. After two weeks of no car I’m looking forward to getting my Brick back!
