All I can say is that my '90 came with a junkyard meter on it when I bought it with 175k on it and the kids drove that car another 50k with that meter before I sold it.

The '91 had its AMM replaced when it was only a couple of years old (turned out not to be the problem) and it has gone 17 years and a quarter million miles since then.
