Do you have a perspective on driving with almost non-existent struts?

No sir. I don't. Seriously, I haven't yet bought a 240 with non-working strut cartridges to get that experience. All I can tell you is they are present for safety, to keep the wheels that point the car on the road, and comfort is just a by-product of design choices. But you already know that.
