I held mine roughly in place with a few smears of "Copydex". It's a white latex based glue that's good for crafts, wood, card, upholstery etc. Must be called something else in the USA, I'm in UK. Really, only the ends might need a bit of glue as the rest is held in by the window frame and the strip across the dash.
