Art,

The block is dry at the front end, and seems to start at 2-3" on to the back of the engine. My mechanic and I have noticed this situation for over a year, not getting worse, and so when we looked at the breather box, the broken down tube seemed to be the culprit or adding to the oil leakage. No overheating- replaced the thermostat 5K or so ago.
