ECT replacement - both engine temp sensors the same/compatible? 700

I was looking last week for the ECT on FCPGroton's website, and couldn't find it. I had to call.

Just to clarify, there are two temperature sensors in the block. The one towards the front of the engine sends its measurment to the dash temp guage. The one under the manifold runner #3 sends its signal to the ECU, which will lean or enrichen the mixture depending on the heat level.

The second one, which runs to the ECU, is the one that throws the code to the diagnostic port. It is a probe, about an inch long, which a black base and a two prong plug.
