Found The Problem - I think 900

Well, I pulled the boot off the rear door, and several wires are cut. This is likely the cause.

However, I have been having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to either get to the wires to splice. The boot is tight, and I can't seem to get the harness into the door to pull it out that way: There is a metal pillar in the way, and I can't get the red screws off the speaker to go in that way.

So, any ideas on how to get the speaker off and to loosen the metal pillar?
