The oil seals are one thing I am sure I will consider. The clutch does not shudder at all but since I'm there and considering the hours in the past I've spent on creepers....The front end is tight as far as I can tell, the small stuff like hoses etc I'd change anyway as a matter of course. I already have the swem kit as the block did not seem to have the "ear" in question, I may be wrong, I'll look again. In any case I am glad to support Ron's efforts as he works hard for us all to maintain a great site.
The car was extensively worked over by the PO, as an example having all the running gear prepped and powder coated. That is front suspension, rear axle, brake parts, driveshaft, tie rods, springs etc. But he didn't upgrade everything that I would like that's why I'm asking. I just did over the brakes last year so they're as good as one could hope for.
I'm replacing the heater control at this time too, and am looking for a 6 blade fan if anyone out there has one they'd like to part with.
