The thing that's been disabled is the aux air valve. Connect it back up; if the cold idle improves, that was the problem. If, after running it up to full temperature, you find that the warm idle is way too high, then it's still the problem.

They're not available new that I know of.

Aside from the inconvenience, it won't hurt anything to run it without an aav.
