Curious???? 700

Understand about risk of pushing the piston beyond normal travel.

Curious why we would "bench bleed" under these circumstances. Why not just remove the metal line, install a loop and bleed it in place? I always thought the whole idea of bench bleeding was to move the piston full travel and thereby remove all air from the cylinders. I assume that full travel is not possible from the pedal.
