I got some almost new e-code aftermarket lights the other day at the 'mall'. I got everything, relays and wiring so I think I just have to splice some wires. But this comment, that the fogs only work with lowbeam; is that due to headlight switch wiring or internal headlight setup, as all the wires to these go to one 4 pin plug on the back of the assembly and I don't know how it's wired internally.
I have seen pics of fogs lit when other lights are not on cars in Europe, mostly on the garaget site. Great pics there btw. I'd like to do it that way if possible, without adding other non-Volvo switches. My current stock fogs next to the grille currently light only when lowbeams are on.
