SPAM Problems

Tony,

The fact that it makes you "crazy" to have to register to post to a forum that you may never visit again is of little concern to the members of that forum (grin). If that is what it takes to weed out a person who might be inclined to abuse the system then so be it.

If you look at the various sites that have registration procedures few of them involve extensive processes. The forum I am most concerned about is the Brickboard and the registration procedure here is quick and easy. It should not take someone more than 60 seconds to register here, and IMO it should be required of everyone.

If you are helping a friend out and the forum you need to use is more involved in their registration procedure it would seem fair that the friend set up the account and then send you your username and password.

Randy
